About Pettigrew's Gallery

Initially, the primary initial purpose of the Pettigrew's Gallery blog is to display images created by Mark Pettigrew, for the purpose of selling products based on those images and for the purpose of facilitating such sales by means of links to applicable web pages and/or PDF files. Such products will very likely include fine art prints, greeting cards and much more. Many of these products will be marketed on a "made to order" basis, in order to cope with the financial and logistical issues associated with keeping an inventory of physical products which have not yet been sold to anyone.

Eventually, the plan is to expand the operation by adding images by other artists (particularly in association with the Artistic Rescue Project), and by helping those other artists to market their work online (and possibly also in connection with art exhibits and other face-to-face marketing endeavors).

One of the primary objectives of the Artistic Rescue Project will be to raise funds which can be donated to charities, nonprofits and relief organizations such as World Vision, Convoy of Hope, etc. At present time, Pettigrew's Gallery is not officially associated with any of those organizations, but that could change in the future.

Images sold by means of this blog may include photographs, abstract art, pen & ink portraits, digital images based on photos, and graphic designs which will include both text and visual images. Regardless of the category or subcategory in terms of content, the goal will be to present images which display high quality, and which are consistent with Mark Pettigrew's commitment to Christ.

However, that does not necessarily that all the images will be "religious" in terms of content. A lot of my images would be pleasing to anyone with a strong sense of aesthetics.

In addition, the Pettigrew's Gallery blog site will contain links to web pages, PDF documents, etc. pertaining to the marketing of custom artistic portraiture services, particularly in relation to pen and ink portraits created from customers' photographs.

Blog posts on this site will be used in order to keep visitors informed with regard to various aspects of the business, such as additions to the product line, as well as marketing endeavors involving mutually beneficial partnerships with other people.
